Cathedral Commons (aka the “New Giant”)
The Cathedral Commons project centers on the development of a new Giant grocery store in the area bounded by Idaho Avenue, Newark and Macomb Streets and Wisconsin Avenue. In addition to the new 56,000 sq. ft. grocery store, the project includes other retail, office space and residences on both sides of Newark Street. The project is being developed in partnership between Stop&Shop/Giant and StreetWorks. In December 2011 the Bozutto Group was announced as the development partner (WP Article).
Concerned neighbors with immediate construction issues can contact their Commissioner and email jkayce@bozzuto.com and jbell@bozzuto.com.
